\"Wax\"Wax is a substance definition for those chemical compounds which exhibit certain properties of solidity and plasticity at certain temperatures. It is a loosely used term to describe many different substances, but the most widely recognized is the substance produced by bees as a byproduct to honey. When selecting a wax for use on ones cabinets, it is important to note that there are waxes specifically for that purpose.<\/p>\n

It is not recommended to use waxes not intended for use on finished wood, like those that are designed for shinning cars, to shine your cabinets. At the local hardware store, a selection of furniture waxes will be on offer. Many furniture waxes are sold in a liquid form. The liquid is applied with a paintbrush, along the grain, and when allowed to completely dry. Once dry, the wax is then buffered and the cabinets are shined.
