Announcing the Winner of the 2022 Kitchen Cabinet Kings Entrepreneur Scholarship

We’re pleased to announce Victoria Joneikis from Kent State University as the winner of the 2022 Kitchen Cabinet Kings Entrepreneurship Scholarship.

Each year, Kitchen Cabinet Kings awards a $5,000 scholarship to a college student who is passionate about entrepreneurship. To apply, students explain how they would solve a problem or take advantage of an opportunity in the market. The writing prompt for this year was:

“With the rise in popularity of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in 2021, what are some ways companies can take advantage of this technology? Some topics you may want to include: brand awareness, business logistics, customer experience, or return on investment (ROI).”

As always, picking a winner for this scholarship is never easy. We enjoyed her ideas for NFTs in the gaming industry in her essay titled, “NFT: The Next Innovation in the World of Video Gaming.”

We’re happy to support entrepreneurs like Victoria who work to solve problems in creative ways. Even crowded markets can make room for people who think of things differently.

Kitchen Cabinet Kings itself started as an idea in two entrepreneurs’ heads. The dream was to disrupt the cabinet industry by giving people an easy and affordable way to buy kitchen cabinets online. Today, we’re fortunate to have thousands of customers across the country.

The rewards for coming up with an innovative idea or solution can be great, but not every entrepreneur gets to see their vision come to life. We created this scholarship program to give young entrepreneurs a bit of a break on the rising cost of education while they focus on creating the businesses of tomorrow.
