The winner of the 2018 Kitchen Cabinet Kings Entrepreneur Scholarship is Noah Covey from Harvard University.
The Kitchen Cabinet Kings Entrepreneur Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship awarded to one active college student who is committed to entrepreneurship. This year’s essay topic was, “How will cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology change the way companies do business?”
Here’s a snippet of what Noah had to say:
In California, there were races that flipped from one party to the other weeks after election day when absentee votes were fully counted. And there was possible election fraud discovered in North Carolina. It became clear to me that America needs a new, standardized, easily verifiable way to conduct elections. And blockchain is the perfect solution. Imagine having every vote added as a record to a block on a single, decentralized election blockchain. Changing the results would be impossible, and everyone would have equal access to those results.
Kitchen Cabinet Kings was founded by two entrepreneurs with a dream to disrupt the cabinet industry and today we’re fortunate to have thousands of satisfied customers throughout the country. We wanted to give back to fellow entrepreneurs and created a scholarship program to help young entrepreneurs combat the rising costs of tuition. This year, we are honored to award the 2018 Kitchen Cabinet Kings Entrepreneur Scholarship to Noah.
Thank you to everyone who applied for this year’s scholarship. Please check our scholarship page over the next few weeks for this year’s topic.
