Support The Barstool Fund With Kitchen Cabinet Kings This January

This year, we’ve seen the coronavirus pandemic impact small businesses everywhere. We know that every dollar counts, so during the month of January, Kitchen Cabinet Kings will donate a portion of all sales to the Barstool Fund.

What Is The Barstool Fund?

The Barstool Fund was launched by the founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, with the nonprofit 30 Day Fund. The Fund provides relief for small businesses that have continued to pay their employees throughout this difficult time. Once a business qualifies for the fund, they will be given assistance on a month to month basis until they are on their feet.

As of late December, The Barstool Fund has raised over $8.5 million and is supporting 34 businesses. The Fund has over 75,000 supporters, including Dave Portnoy himself, with a contribution of $500,000.

Why Is It Important?

With the continued chaos of coronavirus uncertainty, small business across North America are scrambling to survive. According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, the U.S. has seen a decrease of 3.3 million active businesses from February to April of this year. Operationally, this has created financial hurdles for business owners struggling to maintain operational and overhead expenses. According to the Society for Human Resource Management, 70% of small businesses reported revenue drops since the beginning of the pandemic. During this period, a number of small businesses have relied on their cash reserves to keep their employees on the payroll. However, as the economy remains unpredictable, business owners face difficulties staying afloat. The Barstool Fund can help to take the pressure off of owners in their continued battle with financial hardships.

How To Donate

During the month of January, when you shop at KitchenCabinetKings.com, a portion of each sale will go toward The Barstool Fund. You don’t have to do anything special to make sure the donation goes through.

If you would like to donate more on your own, you can go to The Barstool Fund’s donation page. Know that 100 percent of donations to The Barstool Fund go directly to small businesses that qualify to receive funding.
