What is a Full-Access Drawer?

Full Access DrawerA full-access drawer is a drawer that can be opened completely. This allows users to see or reach everything that may be in the back of the drawer.

A full-access drawer is a type of drawer that may be completely opened to reveal its contents. Full-access drawers are set on full-extension guides, which allow the drawer to be pulled out as far as possible without coming loose from its tracks. Some drawers are limited in their movements, and many of the contents at the back cannot be easily reached. This can be prevented with the installation of a full-access drawer and the corresponding full-extension guides. Full-access drawers are available in a variety of sizes and finishes, and they may be found in many areas of the house. Full–access drawers may be included in furniture pieces, vanities or kitchen cabinets. The fronts of full-access drawers can be designed to match the other storage spaces in the room.
