Mermaid Lemonade

What says Memorial Day better than a cocktail featuring red, white and blue? For a sweet and tangy drink you can sip on all day, get splashing with Mermaid Lemonade.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. ice
  • 1/4 c. blue curacao
  • 1 c. white rum
  • 2 c. lemonade
  • 4 lemon slices
  • 8 maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Add 1/4 cup ice to each glass and then pour a splash of blue curacao, 1/4 cup rum, and another 1/4 cup ice. (The ice helps with the ombre appearance of the cocktail.)
  2. Then, add in 1/2 cup of your favorite lemonade.
  3. Skewer a lemon slice and 2 maraschino cherries on a toothpick and garnish drinks before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. vodka
  • 1 c. Champagne
  • 1/2 c. Blue Curacao
  • 1/2 c. lemonade
  • 3 c. ice
  • Lemon wedge
  • White sanding sugar

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine vodka, champagne, blue curacao, lemonade, and ice. Blend until combined.
  2. Run a lemon wedge around the rim of each glass then dip in sanding sugar.
  3. Pour frosties into rimmed glasses and serve immediately.

Raspberry Float Mimosas

Ingredients

  • 1 6 oz container fresh raspberries, rinsed
  • 1 6 oz container fresh blackberries, rinsed
  • 1 6 oz container fresh blueberries, rinsed
  • 1 16 oz container fresh strawberries, rinsed quartered
  • 1 bottle Middle Sister Moscato
  • 1/3 cup raspberry or strawberry liqueur
  • 1/4 cup agave (optional)
  • Raspberry lime seltzer to taste
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Combine the berries, raspberry or strawberry liqueur, agave, and Moscato in a pitcher and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
  2. To serve, pour into a glass with ice and seltzer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup simple syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (sliced in half)
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 bottle dry white wine
  • Club soda or tonic water
  • Ice
  • Few sprigs of fresh mint for garnish

Directions

  1. Fill a pitcher with ice and top with berries, reserving some for garnish.
  2. Add in the simple syrup and pour in wine until the pitcher is ¾ full.
  3. Top off with club soda or tonic water, stir, and serve in ice-filled glasses.
  4. If desired, garnish glasses with mint sprig.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons fresh blueberries (plus additional for garnish)
  • 2 fresh strawberries diced (plus additional for garnish)
  • 10-15 fresh mint leaves a small handful (plus additional for garnish)
  • 1/2 medium lime juiced (about 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 ounces white rum
  • Ice
  • Club soda

Directions

  1. Muddle the blueberries, strawberries, mint, lime juice, and sugar in the bottom of a tall serving glass until the sugar is dissolved and the berries break down.
  2. Add the rum and stir with the muddled berry mixture to combine.
  3. Fill the glass with ice and top it off with club soda.
  4. Stir to combine and garnish with additional mint leaves and berries as desired.

Directions

  1. Add ice to a cocktail glass and pour in watermelon juice, vodka, lime juice, and your choice of sweetener syrup.
  2. Fill glass to the top with ice then serve with fresh mint and garnish with a lime wedge or watermelon wedge.

Easy Strawberry Daiquiri (Non-Alcoholic)

  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 5 ounces simple syrup
  • 4 ounces light rum (omit if making non-alcoholic)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Fresh strawberries and lime slices for garnish, if desired

Directions

  1. Add a mixture of frozen and fresh strawberries, simple syrup, rum (omit in non-alcoholic), and lime juice to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh berries and lime slices for serving.

Summer Berry Lemonade (Non-Alcoholic)

If you’re looking for an easy drink that both children and adults will enjoy, look no further than this summer berry lemonade — taking your favorite classic lemonade recipe and amplifying it!

Ingredients

Berry Puree:

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Lemonade:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 to 10 lemons you’ll need 1 cup juice
  • 4 cups water or to taste
  • Additional berries and lemon slices for garnish

Directions

For the Berry Puree:

  1. Process blackberries and raspberries in a blender until smooth.
  2. Place a wire mesh colander over a small bowl and pour the berry puree into the colander, pushing it through the wire mesh and into the bowl with the back of a spoon to remove any remaining liquid.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate puree until ready to make lemonade.

For the Lemonade:

  1. Add sugar and water to a medium saucepan and place over medium heat and cook over medium heat until dissolved.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the simple syrup into a container and place in your freezer to cool down.
  3. Juice lemons to yield 1 cup of lemon juice and add juice to the pitcher.
  4. Add cooled simple syrup, berry puree, and 4 cups of water to the pitcher and stir.
  5. Juice enough lemons to yield 1 cup of lemon juice and add the lemon juice to a pitcher. Stir well.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with slices of lemon and berries.

Fizzy Fruity Floats (Non-Alcoholic)

Who needs a root beer float when you can have a fruity soda float instead? This is a drink (or should we say dessert?!) that guests of any age will be slurping down.

Ingredients

  • Fruit sodas (raspberry, orange, and grape)
  • Vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Add two scoops of ice cream to each glass.
  2. Pour fruit soda over the top of the ice cream to fill the glass and serve.
