Real Kitchen Remodels Before and After

New cabinets can be hard to picture in the kitchen you already have. These projects show what that change looks like in real homes. Every kitchen and bathroom came from a Kitchen Cabinet Kings customer and was photographed before and after the new cabinets went in. Many started with honey oak from the 1970s, '80s or '90s. Kitchen Cabinet Makeovers, Before and After

Some customers changed only the cabinets. Same counters, same appliances, same floor. Because cabinets fill so much of the room, a new door style or finish can change the entire look without changing the layout. New counters and appliances can help, but the cabinets are often where the before and after begins.

Updating Oak Kitchen Cabinets

Oak appears in many of the before photos. Customers replaced it with white or gray shaker cabinets, deep blues and greens, or warmer modern wood tones. If your kitchen still has its original oak, these projects show how the same layout can look with a different finish and door style.

Small Kitchen Remodels

In a small kitchen, every cabinet choice matters. Taller wall cabinets add storage without taking up more floor space. Lighter finishes can make a tight room feel more open, while glass-front uppers or a few open shelves break up a solid run of doors.
